Value Orientations
Sinha & Sinha’s discussion provides examples of the hierarchical structure of Indian society- the heavy belief in junior- senior relationships. This article pulls on Hofstede to claim that India is collectivist.
This is mostly a theoretical work with some anecdotal considerations of how the top-down structure works in India.
Can use as a citation for discussing how this structure has been widely proposed as part of the Indian workforce, but can also show evidence of transitions with other works.
