If you are recording audio or video, consider the following tools and tips to ensure that your content meets the recording quality requirements.
Tools to record a voiceover PowerPoint
- If you are recording a voiceover PowerPoint to provide context and explanation for the team building your course, you may not need a very high quality microphone, eg., the default headphones that come with most smartphones is sufficient.
- If you are recording audio for narration in your course and audio quality is important, consider one of the following higher quality microphones:
- <$50: FIFINE USB Microphone
- $50-$100: Blue Condenser Microphone (includes headphones)
- >$100: Rode NT USB Microphone
Tools to record audio and video
- If you are recording video, consider any of the following video cameras for a high quality recording:
- <$100: Razer Kiyo Streaming Webcam
- $100-$150: Logitech C922 Pro Stream Webcam
- >$150: Panasonic Full HD Video Camera Camcorder HC-V770
